Alexandra Anonuevo is an emerging Western Sydney filmmaker specialising in the camera department.
She has recently completed a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Media Arts and Production at the University of Technology Sydney.
Alexandra’s background in filmmaking developed from a young age with always a camera in her hand taking photos, creating and editing holiday videos, trailers and music videos for fun. Alexandra professionally develops her career by working as a Prep Tech at Panavision & freelancing on independent short films, features, music videos and commercials.



Alexandra is enthusiastic to engage in new projects. She has recently been involved in a variety of productions with secondary roles such as BTS Photographer, an extra for the Woolworths TVC Campaign ‘Get your woolies worth’ and as production manager, gaffer and runner for several student films. After recently graduating from her Bachelor Degree studies, she worked as a Production Runner on feature film 'From All Sides', directed by award-winning Bina Bhattacharya.
Alongside her career, Alexandra’s hobbies and interest revolve heavily around creativity and catching up on recent and vintage films and TV Series.
In 2022, she was awarded with 1st place in the category of ‘Best Photo’ for the 2022 UTS Photography Society Autumn Semester Photography Competition.
In addition, Alexandra casually models for photography shoots to also gain an understanding in front of the camera.



Additionally, her creativity branches to media and marketing where her experience in photography and videography are applied. In 2023 and 2021-22, she upheld the role of Marketing Director for UTS Photography Society & UTS Skate Society respectively.
She further developed her skills as the videography editor for not-for-profit organisation The Village Project.
Alexandra is fascinated with the technicality of filmmaking and is always looking to upskill in the roles as a 1st and 2nd AC and DP.
She is enthusiastic in being a part of the film industry and is determined to pursue and develop her career as a euphoric cinematographer.
